What is InterviewStream?InterviewStream is innovative software that you use to enhance your job interviewing skills and develop an edge over the competition. The complete InterviewStream system creates a compelling and realistic interview experience where you are asked challenging questions and must respond. The questions are the same questions you would get in a real job interview. You can use InterviewStream whenever you want, as often as you want to prepare for any employment opportunity. How does it work?You select the type of job interview you want to practice. The software will load the interviewer and he or she will appear on your computer screen and begin to ask you real interview questions. You must respond, just as you would in a real interview. You can repeat each question as often as you like, and you can even see and hear examples of great answers. What types of questions will I see?InterviewStream contains over a thousand interview questions, example answers, and tips. When you use InterviewStream you'll notice that interview questions can be custom tailored to your level of confidence, experience, education, and qualifications. Can I use InterviewStream without a web camera?No. You can still access all of the features on the website but InterviewStream software only works with a web camera. Will InterviewStream work with my computer?InterviewStream will work with almost any major brand computer that was purchased within the last five years except Mac's. What are the minimum system requirements?Minimum system requirements for InterviewStream to work are a computer that has Windows XP, at least 256 MB of RAM, at least 1.5 GHz of processor speed, Microsoft.Net Framework 2.0, WDM-compatible audio/video capture device (a Webcam with a microphone), Windows Media Player 9 or better, and an internet connection. What services are available through the InterviewStream website?The InterviewStream website provides access to upgrades, enhancements, and our support center. In addition, you will be able to upload interviews that you have created using InterviewStream to the website, where they can be reviewed by professionals, employers, or others of you choosing. Will using InterviewStream guarantee that I get a job?No. It would be foolish for us to guarantee that for anyone. We do however know that, by using the InterviewStream system others have developed their skills while learning how to present themselves to employers. How long can I store my interview for?Interviews are stored for 60 days in your account. Anytime you re-record part or all of your interviews, you are given another 60 days. One week and one-day prior to the end of the 60-days, you will receive an email reminding you to extend your time or your interviews will be deleted. If you do nothing, your interviews are automatically deleted from the system. If you do respond, your interview storage time can be extended. Back to Frequently Asked Questions
How many interviews can I record?Your account allows you to store 5 complete interviews. The interview is comprised of up to 8 interview questions. Each interview session allows you to record the answers to all 8 interview questions or the number you have selected. Each question and answer is recorded individually. All interviews must be completed within the 30 minutes allocated or your time will expire. Back to Frequently Asked Questions
What if I don't like the way I look, can I restart the interview?During the 30 minutes allocated to record your interview, you have the ability to review the question you just answered. If you are not satisfied, you can re-record each answer as often as you like. Note that you only have 30 minutes to complete all the questions you have selected.
